Gaining weight is something that is not easy for every person, especially a skinny person whose body is prone to remaining on the thinner side. To gain weight, a person has to eat a lot of foods that contain protein, fat, vitamins, carbohydrates and calcium.

A person has to eat at least 500 calories more than he or she eats on a normal day. A person also has to eat 5-6 small meals within a time span of 2 and a half hours or 3 hours to have the required amount needed for rapid weight gain. Consumption of more calories in the diet is very important for rapid weight gain.
